Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake, collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake
• Utilize Snowflake's architecture to build and optimize cloud data solutions and manage Snowflake objects
• Collaborate with data architects to create data models and ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines and hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to optimize large-scale workloads
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques and data integration best practices
