Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment, focusing on data integration, modeling, and cloud architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure efficient data ingestion and transformation processes
• Utilize Snowflake's architecture to build and optimize cloud data solutions, including managing Snowflake objects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop logical and physical data models aligned with business objectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and hands-on proficiency with Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize large-scale workloads
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure, and experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques, including star schemas and fact tables
