Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python (PySpark) and Snowflake
• Utilize Snowflake's architecture to build and optimize modern cloud data solutions
• Extract and ingest structured and semi-structured data from various sources, collaborating with stakeholders to create data models

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and working with Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to optimize large-scale workloads
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques and data integration best practices
