Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion and transformation processes
• Utilize Snowflake to build and optimize cloud data solutions, managing various Snowflake objects and implementing dimensional modeling
• Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to create logical and physical data models, while enforcing data engineering standards and best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines and proficiency with Snowflake, including performance optimization
• Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize large-scale workloads
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure, and experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Git
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques, including star schemas and fact tables
