Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake while working remotely from Latin America.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and optimize Snowflake data solutions
- Extract and ingest data from various sources while collaborating with stakeholders to create data models
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake workloads and ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and strong proficiency in Snowflake
- Advanced SQL development skills and experience with dimensional modeling techniques
- Familiarity with cloud data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure, and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of data integration best practices and data governance standards
