Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake while working remotely from Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion frameworks
• Utilize Snowflake to build and optimize cloud data solutions, managing various data objects and ensuring performance efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create data models and enforce data engineering standards and best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines and working with Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills and experience with dimensional modeling techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience managing source code and CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps or similar tools
