Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion and transformation processes
• Utilize Snowflake to optimize cloud data solutions and manage data warehousing objects effectively
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop logical and physical data models that align with business objectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and proficiency with Snowflake architecture
• Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to optimize large-scale workloads
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques, including star schemas and fact tables
