Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a rapidly growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and optimize Snowflake data solutions
- Extract and ingest data from various sources while collaborating with stakeholders to create data models
- Monitor and optimize data workloads, ensuring adherence to data governance and security standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience with end-to-end data pipelines and advanced SQL development
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance optimization and data modeling
- Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Experience managing source code and CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps
