Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion and transformation processes
• Utilize Snowflake architecture to build and optimize cloud data solutions, managing various Snowflake objects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create logical and physical data models that align with business objectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and advanced SQL development skills
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including virtual warehouses and performance optimization
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure, and CI/CD pipelines using Git
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques such as star schemas and fact tables
