Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Python and Snowflake, while working remotely in Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion and transformation processes
• Utilize Snowflake to build and optimize cloud data solutions, implementing data modeling techniques for enterprise data warehouses
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data integration standards and support data governance initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and proficiency with Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills, with the ability to optimize large-scale workloads
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience with data modeling techniques, including star schemas and dimensional modeling
