Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake while working remotely from Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion processes using Python (PySpark) and Snowflake
• Utilize Snowflake's architecture to optimize cloud data solutions and manage Snowflake objects for performance and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop logical and physical data models aligned with business objectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and proficiency with Snowflake features
• Advanced SQL development skills with experience in performance tuning and large-scale workloads
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure, and CI/CD pipelines using Git
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques such as star schemas and fact tables
