Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and optimize Snowflake data solutions
- Extract and ingest structured and semi-structured data from various sources, collaborating with stakeholders to create data models
- Monitor and optimize ETL processes and Snowflake workloads to ensure performance and cost-efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines and working with Snowflake
- Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to optimize large-scale workloads
- Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Experience with dimensional modeling techniques and data integration best practices
