Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT processes, ensuring efficient data ingestion and transformation
• Utilize Snowflake architecture to optimize cloud data solutions and manage data warehousing objects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create data models and ensure adherence to data governance standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and working with Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills with experience in performance tuning
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques and data integration best practices
