Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake while working remotely from Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion and transformation processes
• Utilize Snowflake's architecture to build and optimize cloud data solutions, managing various Snowflake objects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create logical and physical data models, supporting data governance and quality initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and proficiency in Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills, including performance tuning and optimization
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience with data modeling techniques, including dimensional modeling
