Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake while working remotely in Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and optimize cloud data solutions using Snowflake
• Extract and ingest structured and semi-structured data from various sources, collaborating with data architects on data modeling
• Implement data quality controls, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with data governance standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and proficiency in Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to optimize large-scale workloads
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure, and CI/CD practices
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques for enterprise data warehousing
