Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake, while working remotely in Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation
• Utilize Snowflake architecture to build and manage cloud data solutions, ensuring performance and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create data models and enforce data engineering standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience with end-to-end data pipelines and advanced SQL development
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance optimization and data modeling
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure, and CI/CD practices
• Knowledge of data integration best practices and data governance standards
