Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake, ensuring efficient data integration and modeling in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion processes using Python and Snowflake
• Utilize Snowflake architecture to build and optimize cloud data solutions, including managing Snowflake objects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create data models and ensure adherence to data governance and quality standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines and proficiency with Snowflake, including performance optimization
• Advanced SQL development skills with experience in dimensional modeling techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure, and CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps
• Strong analytical mindset with knowledge of data integration best practices and data governance
