Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake while working remotely in Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python (PySpark) and Snowflake
• Utilize Snowflake architecture to build and optimize cloud data solutions, ensuring performance and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create data models and support data governance initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and advanced SQL skills
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance optimization and data modeling techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience managing source code and CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps
