Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the modernization of its core platform, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will solve complex data problems, design scalable data pipelines, and ensure the quality and reliability of data systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data platforms, ensuring availability, reliability, and security
• Design and develop scalable, maintainable data pipelines while collaborating with other Data Engineers
• Monitor data systems performance and research industry trends to optimize operations and costs

Required qualifications

• Strong experience with Azure Cloud services, including Azure Synapse and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
• Proven ability to design and build scalable ELT pipelines and data lake solutions using tools like Snowflake and dbt
• Deep expertise in Python and SQL, along with strong proficiency in C#
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD best practices for data platforms
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
