Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a critical CRM data architecture migration for a key client in the Life Sciences industry, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will work remotely, focusing on building and configuring data ingestion pipelines from Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud into a Databricks data warehouse while utilizing AWS, dbt, and Apache Airflow.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and deploy data integration pipelines connecting Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud to the Databricks warehouse environment
• Execute pipeline modifications to transition legacy data feeds from Veeva CRM to Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud
• Write dbt transformation models and organize end-to-end DAG execution using Apache Airflow

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with expertise in AWS, Databricks, dbt, and Apache Airflow
• Strong programming proficiency in Python/PySpark and Advanced SQL
• Proven experience in architecting and executing migrations, particularly for CRM platforms
• Hands-on experience developing integrations and data ingestion pipelines for Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud or Veeva CRM
• Understanding of SDLC/Agile and DevOps practices for CI/CD and artifact management
