Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time contract basis, the Senior Data Engineer will architect and deploy data integration pipelines for a CRM migration project in the Life Sciences industry, utilizing expertise in Databricks, AWS, dbt, and Apache Airflow.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and deploy data integration pipelines connecting Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud to the Databricks warehouse
• Execute pipeline modifications to transition legacy data feeds from Veeva CRM to Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud
• Write dbt transformation models and organize end-to-end DAG execution using Apache Airflow

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with expertise in AWS, Databricks, dbt, and Apache Airflow
• Strong programming proficiency in Python/PySpark and Advanced SQL
• Proven experience architecting and executing data migrations, particularly for CRM platforms
• Hands-on experience with AWS S3 as a data lake storage layer
• Knowledge of SDLC/Agile and DevOps practices for CI/CD and artifact management
