Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on delivering high-quality data products, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will work remotely to build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and architecture while collaborating with various teams to provide analytics insights across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality data sets through curation, consolidation, and manipulation of large-scale data sources
• Build and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines interacting with terabytes of data on platforms like Snowflake and BigQuery
• Develop and enhance enterprise data marts by creating efficient and scalable data models for organizational use

Required qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• 6+ years of data engineering or software development experience with large datasets
• Proficiency in developing complex ETL processes and writing advanced SQL queries
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, BigQuery, and Snowflake
• Strong software engineering principles and experience in functional programming, preferably in Python
