Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will support the development and implementation of data strategies, mentor junior engineers, and drive improvements in data processes while collaborating with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Mentor team members and lead small project teams with minimal oversight
• Generate and implement data architecture recommendations while ensuring adherence to data engineering best practices
• Communicate technical issues and developments effectively with clients and team members

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, with experience substitutable for education
• Expert-level knowledge in at least one family of data ingestion systems, cloud database services, and visualization software
• Proficiency in key data concepts, including database construction, big data processing, and data accuracy improvement
