Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Engineer will analyze, develop, and deliver business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft Analytics stack while collaborating directly with clients to meet their data needs.

Key responsibilities

• Builds and maintains databases, data pipelines, and data lakes while transforming and modeling data for reporting and analytics
• Collaborates with clients to understand their business problems and translates them into specific data solutions
• Works with technical teams throughout the data analytics development process, from gathering requirements to solution delivery and documentation

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, including proficiency with Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
• Strong understanding of data warehouse methodologies, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling techniques
• Familiarity with Agile engineering practices and DevOps/Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Desire for continued education and certification relevant to the position
