Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Proficient in building scalable cloud data pipelines, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will focus on real-time data extraction and integration of OT/IT systems while leveraging SQL and Python in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable cloud data pipelines for high-volume manufacturing and IoT data
• Bridge OT/IT systems for real-time data extraction using industrial protocols
• Apply methodologies like OEE, Six Sigma, and lean to enhance production efficiency and yield

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in data engineering or manufacturing
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Hands-on experience with medallion/lakehouse architectures on Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, or Azure
• Familiarity with industrial protocols such as OPC-UA, MQTT, and Modbus
• Experience in shop floor operations and production planning is a plus
