Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development and optimization of data processes, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design scalable data models and pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Kafka, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data processes and models to support business analytics and applications
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product leadership to translate complex data requirements into reliable data structures
• Integrate best practices for performance optimization, data quality, and CI/CD workflows using GitHub or Azure DevOps

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Advanced SQL expertise with experience in SQL Server and Snowflake
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data processing
• Experience building end-to-end data pipelines and utilizing technologies such as Kafka and dbt
