Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To drive scale and performance within the data ecosystem, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will enhance Python and Snowflake infrastructure, develop automated self-service capabilities, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the analytics layer by developing Looker views and building AI infrastructure for automated capabilities
• Design and scale resilient ELT pipelines while maintaining data integrity and trustworthiness
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Analytics teams to ensure data models effectively address business needs

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2+ years in large-scale cloud data warehouses
• Proven expertise in Snowflake performance optimization and cost governance
• Deep proficiency in Python, focusing on modular and testable code for data processing
• Expert-level SQL knowledge and understanding of data warehousing methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD frameworks and workflow orchestration tools like Prefect or Airflow
