Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Fandango group, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and develop data pipelines, data marts, and schemas for data warehousing, utilizing tools such as AWS Glue, Redshift, and Airflow in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data warehousing solutions, including database architecture and ETL/ELT processes
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions while enhancing performance through indexing
• Collaborate with business users and IT departments to troubleshoot data issues and mentor junior data engineers

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data warehousing and OLAP
• 5+ years of SQL experience and 3+ years of Python experience
• 2+ years of experience with AWS Redshift and NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue and Airflow
• Strong background in multidimensional database architecture and design
