Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support data-driven initiatives, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will develop and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure for big data management, focusing on data access APIs and data models while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure systems, including data warehouses and data lakes, while preparing and manipulating data
• Analyze data and provide actionable insights through quantitative analyses and ongoing reporting
• Create data collection frameworks and apply best practices for data auditing, scalability, and performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 5 years of experience in database design, developing modeling tools, and ETL/ELT scripting
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as SQL, NoSQL, or Python
• Strong understanding of database design and implementation concepts
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading techniques from various sources
