Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely as a full-time Senior Data Engineer, the successful candidate will build and maintain governed Silver and Gold data models, collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into reusable transformation logic, and support the design of semantic views for BI tools on the Databricks platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Silver and Gold data models, domain marts, and curated datasets for priority domains onboarding to Databricks
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate domain requirements and KPI definitions into governed, testable transformation logic
• Create reusable domain patterns and analytical building blocks to enhance self-service analytics for teams such as FP&A and Marketing

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, BI engineering, or data engineering with a focus on modeling and transformation
• Strong skills in dimensional modeling and semantic design, including facts, dimensions, and analytical structures
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with modern cloud data platforms like Databricks
• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into precise and reusable data models
• Fluency in data engineering concepts, particularly in Silver-to-Gold transformations and production deployment
