Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer, the full-time remote position will build and scale the data platform for clinical operations, payer reporting, and analytics, while collaborating cross-functionally with various teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and orchestrate ingestion pipelines and write production-grade Python for transformations and reporting
• Design optimized analytical models and maintain complex SQL assets, focusing on scale, performance, and cost
• Own and manage GCP infrastructure entirely via Terraform, ensuring robust data quality and compliance with PHI regulations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a hybrid backend/data role
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Python and SQL, with deep expertise in production data pipelines and query optimization
• Hands-on experience with GCP ecosystem, including BigQuery and Cloud SQL
• Demonstrated experience working with healthcare claims data and a strong understanding of security and AI ethics in regulated environments
