Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Driving key data engineering initiatives, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will build and deliver data solutions, create robust data pipelines, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable data strategies in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and data models to support long-term business solutions
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage and prioritize data engineering projects and strategies
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data solutions, ensuring efficient updates to the data environment

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or 3+ years with an advanced degree in a related field
• Extensive experience with big data tools such as Hadoop, Hive, and Spark
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with data pipeline management tools like Airflow
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure and stream-processing systems like Kafka
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with structured and unstructured datasets
