Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To maintain the seamless operation of data pipelines and analytics platforms, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will monitor and troubleshoot workflows, resolve incidents, and enhance data delivery processes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain infrastructure systems, including data warehouses and access APIs, while preparing and manipulating data
- Design and implement data models and quality control procedures, ensuring data integrity and availability for stakeholders
- Automate data workflows and support incident management to minimize downtime and optimize performance across data systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- 5 years of experience in database design, ETL/ELT script development, and data modeling
- Hands-on experience with Informatica IICS, Apache Kafka, and Master Data Management (MDM) SaaS solutions
- Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Azure services, and Power BI for data visualization and analytics
- Strong understanding of data engineering fundamentals, including ETL/ELT processes and data governance best practices
