Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To drive outcomes for customers, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will apply technical knowledge to design and implement data quality frameworks, develop core software solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders while working remotely or from the Minneapolis HQ.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement data quality frameworks in alignment with software engineering strategies
- Develop and maintain scalable software solutions, ensuring stability and resilience
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while participating in product planning and implementation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience
- 5 years of experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and data pipeline architecture
- 3 years of experience with Python and Scala programming languages
- Demonstrable experience in data warehousing, particularly using STAR schema, and modeling data in Snowflake and Databricks
- Experience in providing technical expertise and defining engineering standards and practices
