Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and management of data systems, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will oversee junior engineers, develop data pipelines, and implement data models in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to document requirements for data pipelines and process automation
- Design, build, document, test, and maintain data pipelines following industry best practices
- Perform ETL and ELT operations adhering to enterprise data governance and security standards
Required qualifications:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in data engineering
- BA/BS in a relevant discipline
- Experience building large, complex data pipelines across various platforms and data sources
- Proficiency in relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle, with SQL scripting experience
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and programming experience in Python and Spark
