Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and evolve CloudBlue's data and analytics platform, focusing on AI-driven capabilities and scalable data infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-performance data fabric, including real-time ingestion, data pipelines, storage, and analytics
- Drive the adoption of AI across the platform and develop AI-powered workflows and capabilities
- Design and integrate APIs that connect data, services, and business workflows across the CloudBlue ecosystem
Required qualifications
- Strong professional software engineering experience with a focus on data-intensive systems
- Extensive experience building data pipelines and data models for production-scale workloads
- Hands-on experience with Python and event-streaming technologies like Kafka or similar
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases, along with experience in designing and integrating APIs
