Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of AI-powered solutions, the remote Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and scale the enterprise Data & AI Platform, focusing on analytics, machine learning, and data processing for a variety of workloads.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures for structured and unstructured data workloads
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-ready data products and optimize data retrieval capabilities
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices for data modeling, governance, and platform reliability
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in designing and operating enterprise-scale data platforms
- Expertise in modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery
- Advanced SQL and Python skills with experience in ELT/ETL development and orchestration frameworks
- Experience with streaming and event-driven architectures using technologies like Kafka or Spark
- Strong understanding of modern data architecture patterns, including data governance and metadata management
