Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing data team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS, collaborating with data scientists and analysts in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy end-to-end data pipelines on AWS using services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, and Amazon Redshift
- Build and maintain scalable data processing workflows using Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL
- Develop and manage Apache Airflow workflows for pipeline orchestration and automation
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, preferably in commercial pharmaceutical/healthcare data environments
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud, Databricks, Spark, and SQL
- Experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines and large-scale data processing workflows
- Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
- Deep knowledge of commercial pharmaceutical data sources and processes
