Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support data-driven decision-making, the remote W2 contract Senior Data Engineer will design and maintain scalable data architectures, optimize data pipelines, and ensure data quality using Matillion and BigQuery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, construct, test, and maintain scalable data management systems and ETL processes
- Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources into a unified data system
- Build and maintain data warehouses and optimize database performance to meet business needs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Snowflake SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Strong understanding of Matillion ETL tool and processes
- Knowledge of data warehousing solutions, particularly BigQuery
