Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Data Engineer, this position will design and implement technology solutions, build architecturally sound components, and mentor junior engineers while working remotely from any US location.
Key responsibilities:
- Designs, modifies, and implements technology solutions to meet strategic business goals
- Participates in Agile methodology practices and collaborates with cross-functional teams
- Mentors junior engineers and oversees code and design reviews to ensure compliance with enterprise standards
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer and Information Science or related field, or Bachelor's degree with six years of relevant experience
- Four years of experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript
- Experience utilizing cloud technologies, including AWS and Azure
- Proficiency with ETL tools like DataStage and Talend, and query tools such as Aqua Data Studio
- Experience in developing and integrating APIs using REST
