Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Owning complex technical projects end-to-end, the fully remote Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines using Snowflake and dbt, while also mentoring other engineers and improving platform capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines in dbt against a Snowflake warehouse
- Build and maintain orchestration workflows in Apache Airflow
- Mentor other engineers through code review and technical guidance
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of professional data engineering experience
- Hands-on proficiency with Snowflake, including performance tuning
- Strong experience with dbt for building and maintaining production ELT pipelines
- Experience with Apache Airflow or a comparable orchestration platform
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
