Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the transition of legacy systems to a modern IAM solution, the full-time remote Senior DBA / Data Modeler / Data Engineer will design, manage, and optimize data activities while ensuring secure and efficient data handling throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive data transition plan for migrating existing AIMS and PAS data to a cloud-centric architecture
• Create and maintain detailed data models, mappings, and dictionaries for intersystem connections and data processes
• Support database configurations, performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity management to ensure efficient operation of IAM systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience in database administration, data modeling, and data engineering
• Strong expertise in creating detailed data models, mappings, and dictionaries
• Proficiency in data migration and transition planning for complex systems
• Knowledge of secure data handling practices, including encryption and PII protection
• Experience in designing automated data sharing and integration processes
