Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Driving ML and data engineering initiatives, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and develop GCP data pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and improve patient outcomes in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Design, architect, and develop GCP data pipelines for data extraction, loading, and transformation
- Create and maintain documentation illustrating the storage, processing, and support of information assets
- Collaborate with project teams to estimate, plan work efforts, and review business requirements
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect
- Expert proficiency in Google Cloud Platform tools, including GCS, BigQuery, and Cloud Composer/Airflow
- Advanced SQL skills, including writing and tuning complex queries
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and developing Python-based ELT data pipelines
- Machine Learning experience and solid understanding of Data Build Tool (DBT)
