Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Owning data problems end to end, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and models to support analytics and strategic decision-making in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ELT workflows for analytics and reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define measurement strategies and enable product analytics
- Enforce data quality and governance standards through metrics, validation rules, and anomaly detection
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field and three years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with five years of experience
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and analytical data design concepts
- Proficiency in using Spark or Airflow for processing high-volume data
- Cloud data engineering experience with AWS services such as S3, EMR, and Kinesis
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java, along with SQL for data structuring
