Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance data systems and processes, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will identify, design, and implement internal process improvements while working remotely and utilizing technologies such as MSSQL, Snowflake SQL, and Talend.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL jobs to automate data movement into the Data Lake
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment of database models
- Mentor junior data engineers and conduct code reviews to uphold engineering standards
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Three years of experience in ETL tools and data warehouse environments
- Proficiency in MS-SQL, Snow-SQL, Talend, and programming languages such as Python and JavaScript
- Experience with data governance tools and conducting audit processes in cloud warehouses
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like GitHub
