Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain data integration and reporting solutions primarily using Databricks, while optimizing pipelines and datasets for analytics and AI/ML workloads.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain efficient ETL pipelines and processes on Databricks, ensuring data quality and performance
- Develop and optimize Databricks pipelines and datasets using Python, Spark, and SQL, integrating with various data sources
- Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and maintain complex SSRS reports, dashboards, and visualizations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in data integration and reporting
- Extensive experience with Databricks, including Python, Spark, and Delta Lake
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions
- Experience with SSIS and SSRS development and maintenance
