Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the design and delivery of data contracts and Delta Sharing, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will provide governed, self-service access to trusted data across JLL's Enterprise Data Platform, collaborating with analytics and product teams to establish a consistent data consumption framework.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and rollout of data contracts that define schema, quality, and ownership expectations between data producers and consumers
• Own the end-to-end build of Delta Sharing capabilities for secure, governed data access across teams
• Build automated validation and quality checks to enforce contract compliance at ingestion and consumption points

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with at least one large-scale implementation delivered end-to-end
• Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Direct experience with data contracts, schema governance, or data quality enforcement in production platforms
• Experience with Delta Lake, Delta Sharing, or comparable data-sharing technologies
• Strong experience in PySpark, including performance optimization and troubleshooting
