Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and evolving data infrastructure, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer (Data Architecture) will build scalable data pipelines, partner with cross-functional teams, and enhance data quality and standardization across shared products and client solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Designing, building, deploying, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and shared data products using BigQuery, dbt, and Python
- Partnering with Product, Engineering, and client teams to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions
- Strengthening data quality and reliability through automated testing, validation, and monitoring
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data architecture
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and BigQuery, with strong knowledge of relational and analytical database concepts
- Intermediate to advanced programming skills in Python and strong experience with dbt
- Familiarity with orchestration technologies such as Airflow or AWS Glue, and modern software engineering practices including Git and CI/CD
