Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
As a Senior Data Engineer on the AirCover Data Foundation team, the remote position will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and models to support AirCover products and operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and drive business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines for AirCover products and operations
- Develop analytics-ready data models and metrics for executive reporting and operational workflows
- Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to translate data sources into trustworthy datasets
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering
- Strong experience with production-quality ETL or ELT pipelines
- Proficiency in large-scale distributed data processing technologies such as Spark
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in a programming language like Python, Scala, or Java
- Experience with workflow orchestration frameworks such as Airflow
