Senior Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support enterprise-scale data integration and data warehouse solutions, the remote contract Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain high-volume ETL/ELT processes using Ab Initio and Snowflake within a large-scale Azure data environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support ETL/ELT data integration solutions utilizing Ab Initio and Snowflake
- Manage and optimize Ab Initio graphs and Snowflake solutions, ensuring performance and reliability of data pipelines
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate data requirements into scalable solutions
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio development
- 4+ years of experience with Snowflake development and architecture
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins and query optimization
- Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting (KSH/Bash)
- Experience working with Azure-based data environments and healthcare data domains
